Meet the other is an art project in public space. A social experiment that is based on chance. Meet the other is, as the name suggests, an attempt to meet someone else. By handing out or leaving letters in the center of Maastricht, a group is put together for a meeting that same evening. Readers of that letter are automatically part of that group and have the choice to meet the others or not. They can chat with each other on a website before the meeting takes place. At the meeting place there are chairs ready, there is music and there are questions that they can answer together. The meeting ends with a group photo.
